Olive oil – not just for salad!

Olives and the luxurious oil that it renders have been used throughout the Mediterranean for centuries. It is one of the main ingredients in our original formula Miracle Salve, which is fabulous for dry hands especially after all the hand washing as the government is currently requesting!

Olive oil has a long history of use as a home skincare remedy. Egyptians used it alongside beeswax as a cleanser, moisturiser, and antibacterial agent since pharaonic times. In ancient Greece, olive oil was used during massage, to prevent sports injuries and relieve muscle fatigue.

We tend to think of olive oil as a cooking ingredient but it has so many more valuable uses.
