Coconut Oil - A tropical treat

Coconut oil is a great emollient and treatment for the protective function of your skin. As it rapidly absorbs into the skin, it is great at efficiently repairing and restoring skin.

Containing Vitamins E and K, essential amino acids, and lauric and caprylic acid which form part of the barrier function of your skin, coconut oil also helps maintain your skin's natural flora otherwise known as its good bacteria.

Vitamin E helps maintain healthy skin and eyes as well as strengthen the body’s natural defence against illness and infection, whilst Vitamin K is needed for blood clotting, thereby helping wounds to heal properly.

We make a stand against using any kind of palm oil, even if it is claimed to be ethically farmed, so coconut is our go-to oil for our Miracle Salve.

So, coconut oil keeps skin moisturised, and also helps it to heal which is why it is a key ingredient in our Miracle Salve.
